Pathways
i. Tertiary Study
Pass Sports Australia Cadetships are provided through the National Indigenous Cadetship Program (NICP), which provides support, professional guidance and mentoring to Indigenous students. The program supports full-time students undertaking a diploma, an advanced diploma or their first undergraduate degree who are employed by Pass Australia as cadets, working at the level of a Senior Coach in a coaching or administrative capacity. Cadets gain valuable work experience from their time with Pass but also act as important role models for school-based trainees by demonstrating that university is a real option for Indigenous youth. Universities are already using Pass as a vehicle to reach Indigenous youth and showcase their courses.
ii. Job Network
Pass engages with the local community in seeking out the best employment opportunities for students. We are currently investigating opportunities to develop our own employment agency.
iii. Career Support Network
Pass is committed to tracking each individuals progress and aims to help every trainee succeed in their chosen career path.
